2016 KTM SX Models Unveiled

The much anticipated, redesigned 2016 KTM SX line of dirt bike has finally been unveiled and will be available in June. To build the 2016 450SX the 2015 450SX was torn down and analyzed piece by piece. KTM’s goal was to create the the lightest, strongest and best performing range of motocross bikes ever. Has that happened? That remains to be seen but and additional 4 HP while dropping weight and lowering the center of mass should make this bike a formidable entry in the 450 class. In total 365 out of 378 parts have been redesigned to be lighter, stronger or more efficient on the 2016 SX four-stroke models compared to 2015. Read more here, www.ktm.com *free shipping…

2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Hangtown Press Day

The 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship kicks off this weekend at Hangtown MX in Rancho Cordova, CA. Even without James Stewart and Ryan Villopoto lining up up for the gate drop this might be the deepest fields in a long time, both the 250 and 450 class. Lots of questions swirl around the start of the 2015 season… 450 Class: Will RCH Suzuki’s Kenny Roczen be healthy enough coming of his ankle injury to defend his 2014 title? Is JGR Yamaha’s Weston Peick a podium threat outdoors and will he finish ahead of his highly touted, and highly paid, teammate Justin Barcia? Will we see Barcia return to winning form? Geico Honda’s Eli Tomac is fast, REALLY FAST. Can he figure out his starts and not have to battle back from 12th place on a regular basis? Will Christophe Pourcel gel with his new team, Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna and will there be another implosion for the French motocross star? Solid outdoor rider Blake Baggett stepped up to the 450’s with team Yoshimura Suzuki. Will he be a podium contender every weekend? At 33 years old, and an injured back, can Team Two-Two’s main man Chad Reed get on the box consistently? 250 Class: Will Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin dominate the 250 field in 2015 as he did while capturing his 2014 crown? Will his Jeremy Martin’s teammate and reigning 250SX West Champ Cooper Webb’s ankle injury in Vegas keep him off the podium to start the season? Can Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin duplicate his impressive 2015 Supercross run outdoors; will it translate? Will GEICO Honda’s Justin Bogle cash in on his last year in the 250 class? Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger was the 2015 Supercross Rookie of the Year, how will he do outdoors? Coming…

Leatt Fusion 3.0 Vest

Another innovation from Leatt, the first combination neck and torso protector for Adult riders, in the form of the all-new Fusion 3.0 Vest. The Fusion Vest is CE certified neck and CE certified body protection addresses the fact that riders are very susceptible to chest, flank, shoulder, back and neck injuries. It couples Leatt’s award winning neck protection with new, impact absorbing, 3DF foam technology to create a comfortable and well vented upper body protector. The vest is easy to get into physically, with a simple left-side-entry, and easy financially with a reasonable price tag. Some high-end Leatt neck braces cost more alone than the Fusion Vest. The shoulder pads are easily removable and the front and back plates feature pivot points for natural body movement on the bike. Sizing is adjustable as well for a custom fit. *free shipping…
